Limerick, Ireland, 25-28 June 2018\
Designing is increasingly taking place in shifting
territorial, economic, and policy contexts. DRS2018 will explore emergent
themes at the intersections of design research, design practice, design
education and design policy. We ask what are the ways in which design research
can catalyse progressive change in this emerging world?
As well as DRS2018 Call for Papers, we also seek submissions
for the PhD by Design event, Workshop sessions and Conversation sessions.
Please see the website for the Call for
Conversations, Call for
Workshops, and PhD by Design.
DRS2018 invites new and challenging paper submissions from
any area or discipline of design research. We embrace research looking at
and using design in the widest possible sense with interdisciplinary work and
work responding to the conference themes particularly encouraged.
Theme tracks for DRS2018
In addition to an open call for papers, there are a number
of theme tracks to which authors are encouraged to submit their research
papers. The Open Track is an open call for papers
in the broader
context of the DRS2018 conference theme 'Catalyst: Design as a Catalyst for
Change’.
